BUILDING CHAMPIONS FOR LIFE!
THE HELEN RICE TENNIS SCHOOL DIFFERENCE

Helen Rice Tennis School is home to a dedicated team of coaches, who to strive to offer a holistic approach to tennis in a fun, learning environment. Founded in 1979 we aim to develop skills for life for every individual we coach through the sport of tennis. Whether your goal is the world stage or the local courts we have a program for you.

THE HELEN RICE TENNIS SCHOOL STORY

Helen began the Helen Rice Tennis School (HRTS) in 1979 after her professional playing career was cut short with injuries.

The HRTS is now in it’s 39th year and many thousands of kids, as young as 2 years old, and adults, as young as 87 years old, have enjoyed the fabulous tuition from the many friendly, knowledgeable coaches. There are currently 5 3rd generation families having coaching.

Passion, life long learning and enthusiasm for the game have played a big role in the amazing success of the Helen Rice Tennis School.

We encourage you to come and join the fun in any one of our programs ranging from peeWee Tennis, Blue, Red, Orange and Green Ball ANZ Hot Shots, Yellow Ball Squads, private lessons and Grand Slam holiday Clinics, for kids to Fitbit Cardio Tennis and private lessons for the adults.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to build champions for life. Here at the Helen Rice Tennis School we understand sports like tennis can provide the tools for more positive outcomes across everything you do.

We have witnessed first hand how sport can be used in a wonderful and very powerful way to build a player into a respectful and disciplined individual.

Through our service of teaching tennis, we strive to provide exceptional coaching and leadership to our students, while simultaneously teaching etiquette and sportsmanship – to ensure we are building champions for life.

OUR MISSION

At the Helen Rice Tennis School our mission is to provide a positive experience with enthusiasm and passion in a fun and friendly environment. Our priority is for our students to learn and improve and to be their best in and on their tennis journey, whatever their age and stage.

Lots of tennis, lots of fitness, lots of fun!

As we believe a person never stops learning, we work hard to ensure our approach extends to all our students, from children to adults.

We invite you to be a part of our club and join our positive tennis community and experience how fun a tennis lesson can be!
